The TL-X lamp (38mm tube diameter) has an internal starter strip for operation without electromagnetic starter or operation without high frequency preheat. In combination with the special lamp holder, all possible effects of flickering during start-up are eliminated. This lamp is used in fire retardant and higher security luminaires for indoor and outdoor applications such as the petrochemical industry, in marine facilities, mines, and any location where traces of explosives can be found.
